Small Flavour Update

- The desolate child now begs for a small amount of money
- If given money, she will run to the arcade and audibly deposit a coin
- She will play until she runs out of money (stored in a variable), at which time she returns to her usual movement route
Plans
- Desolate child ups the high score on the machine (run a timer for x seconds per life, the sum of that which = Desolate Child's hi-score) IMPLEMENTED
- Maybe she brags about her score or refers to it in some way
- Desolate Child/Susie has a high score goal in mind
- Effects for the ominous messages returned from giving or denying the child money. (flipped switch, +/- to hidden statistic, etc.)
I have no idea why I created this character, aside from thinking it was funny to have someone with huge misfortunes and the combined naivety/positivity to never be angry or upset about their situation. Making that character a child just amplifies it.
If you feel any emotion at all for this 12 frame sprite then mission accomplished I guess! Even if it is leveraging pretty hard.
ALSO
- Added a bunch of tileset as sprites, (vending machine, desk with computer and desk bell, more)
- Drew a square commercial gumball machine using MalibuDarby's popcorn machine as a base, and a small table from the hospital set for legs
- How does Desolate Child know P1s name?
BUGFIXES
- Fixed pathing with the motel owner
- Motel office and basement are now on the same map for pathing convenience
- Added a delay between the game over sound and the next coin deposit after reviewing the attached video
- Fixed some trigger issues with the microwave
